TAKE NOTE of Sheer Curtains. Let there be light. A sheer curtain is the type that allows the most light through the fabric, which also means it offers the least privacy. If held up to your face, it's possible to see completely through the fabric. Sheer curtains are sometimes paired with opaque drapes for a more formal look, as well as additional privacy after dark. If you have blinds or woven shades on your windows a sheer curtain is also a great addition to style and yet still have your privacy and darken the room when needed with your blinds.
