This is the story of Palm Springs in its golden years, a city that had it all, including marvelous midcentury Modern architecture, fabulous fly-in hotels, and a swinging nightlife. Through vintage photographs, postcards, and other ephemera, Palm Springs Holiday recalls the Palm Springs area from the 1910s through the 1960s, where people vacationed in the desert, dined, danced, and lounged poolside. Features vintage images of the Coachella Valley and shots of the area’s famous hotels and gambling dens.
Peter Moruzzi graduated from the University of California at Berkeley and later attended the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. In 1999, he founded the Palm Springs Modern Committee (PS ModCom), an architectural preservation group. He is the author of Palm Springs Holiday, Palm Springs Paradise, and Havana Before Castro.

I love my lamp. The size is perfect. It’s dimmable (with a remote control - bonus!). And the shade is the perfect way to reflect my taste.
I usually look forward to autumn because it's my favorite time of year but this year it's because of my new shower curtain! This is the second of three shower curtains that I have bought because I couldn't make a decision so I broke it down seasonally. My previous one was for spring/summer, This one is for fall, and the next one will be for winter. Everyone who has seen these shower curtains rave about them! No it doesn't come with hooks and yes it needs a liner.

I couldn't decide which shower curtain I loved the most so I ordered THREE!! One for Spring/Summer, One for Fall (the orange reminds me of pumpkins) & One for Winter (the starburst reminds me of snowflakes)!!

Looks really sharp, something straight out of the 60’s. Shade color is nice and vibrant. Very sturdy and easy to put together.

Very cute lamp. It's exactly like the picture. Very easy to assemble. I used a warm colored light bulb instead of a bright white. I feel like it gave a better illumination.
The picture doesn't do it justice. You can see the image perfectly. Will order something again, shipping was faster than expected.
Excellent quality. Came in small box, but assembly was easy. We live in Weeki Wachee, FL. on the Mud River and this lamp was perfect in our 1960s cabin.
